Bless you, Monteen, for not giving up on this guy. I guess Dr. Martinez ruled out trying to use surgical glue as a temporary fix until Roman is strong enough to endure stitches? I'm not a vet, but maybe liquifying a bit of meat (along with the antibiotics/vitamins/minerals) would allow at least some of it to get through the crop and into his stomach? Mailing-off a small donation today...wish i could do more. Will pray for strength for both you and Roman :)

Thanks for your comment. The hole is VERY large. Any liquid just runs right out unless you get the feeding cannula past the crop. He's a mess, bless him... :(

God bless you and him. He is truly a beautiful bird, I really hope that you and Dr. Martinez are able to save him. I will have a nice donation for you and your birds in February-I know you need it sooner, but at least you'll know its' coming:)You deserve it, and I cant' stress enough how you and your birds make my heart smile:)Keep the faith, Monteen, I have a feeling things are going to get better for us:)
