Monteen,This is absolutely beautiful. You have me in tears. You are an extraordinary person, and you've created a very interesting life. You've given, and continue to give, so much to the world. You've profoundly touched so many lives. It's an honor knowing you.xox

What had me in tears was looking at the photo of Ted holding one of the many young Golden eagles I raised over my three years as hack site attendant. Looking back on life, he was my only true love but it was not meant to be and now he's crossed the veil. Maybe next time we'll get it right. :(

This rousing testimony was sent to me by email from "D" in Florida.

"I just watched that video of your story, and blubberingly must admit that I'm blown away...

great photos! and moody song too!

you are one of the most strong willed and flatout colorful women-on-a-mission that I've ever had the pleasure to know in this life

your single minded life choices are verily an inspiration to more people than you'll ever know.

you may never see their mouse money, but they see your awesome strength of sheer life force, and it gives them more inner strength just by knowing you..."

WOW, I say.

Amazingly profound and deeply moving, for which there are few words to describe what each viewer comes away with after glimpses behind this story. You are indeed a rare breed of your own kind, and even luckier are the birds which found their way home through someone like you, to care and mend them, in hopes to have a second chance in life.
