I love that sound :). Is that a Cooper's Hawk?
It's a Red-shouldered hawk, very colorful adult plumage...very beautiful. Preys on aquatic vertebrates...
I'm just looking at some google photos of one now, they are extremely attractive aren't they? :)
Indeed they are, but way too noisy as an education bird! :-)
